Our facilities

Facilities & Amenities

Expressly permitted

Groundwork, liberty work, rolling and free jumping

At many yards this is forbidden. Not here: the indoor and outdoor arena are open for groundwork, liberty work, rolling and free jumping.

  • Groundwork and liberty work

Expressly permitted in the indoor and outdoor arena — no prior notice, no special permission.

  • Rolling

Your horse may roll in the sand after work. We rake the surface afterwards.

  • Free jumping

Free jumping in the indoor and outdoor arena is possible too — by arrangement, so that nobody gets in anyone's way.

Indoor arena

Our indoor arena measures 12 × 20 metres, is floodlit and makes training independent of the weather — even when outdoor work is long since impossible.

Outdoor arena

Outdoor arena

The outdoor arena measures 20 × 40 metres on a well-maintained sand surface and is fully floodlit, so training continues into the evening even in the darker months.

Round pen

A twelve-metre round pen for circle work and close-quarters communication. Currently under construction.

Gallop track

Gallop track

A gallop track that is far more than a straight line: mounted archery, baroque exercises — slalom, ring tilting, jousting — and fixed obstacles turn it into a proving ground for skill at speed.

Trail course

Trail course

The trail course leads across a bridge, through a water ditch and over steps. Composure in open country is not built in the arena — it is built on obstacles like these.

Mounted archery, Working Equitation and a trail with a water ditch

A target for mounted archery stands beside the gallop track. Alongside it are skill elements from Working Equitation and fixed jumps.

The western trail leads across a bridge, through a gate and through a water ditch. A round pen will follow in the near future.
